Rock wool pipe (English name: Rock wool pipe) is a pipe insulation material manufactured using natural basalt as its primary raw material. After undergoing high-temperature melting, the material is processed through centrifugal equipment to form inorganic fibers; binders and dust-suppressing oils are then added, followed by a curing process to form the finished pipe sections. This material is characterized by excellent thermal insulation, fire resistance, water repellency, and chemical stability; it possesses a high acidity coefficient, strong fiber durability, and inherent sound-absorbing properties.

Rock wool pipe shells are suitable for the thermal insulation of industrial pipelines-including those in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, shipbuilding, and textile sectors-as well as for applications in building partition walls, suspended ceilings, and interior and exterior wall insulation. Its lightweight nature and low thermal conductivity make it particularly well-suited for installation on small-diameter pipelines. The water-repellent variant exhibits a moisture absorption rate of less than 5% in humid environments, with a hydrophobicity rate reaching 98%. Rock wool pipes are free of fluorine and chlorine compounds, ensuring they do not corrode equipment; classified as an inorganic, non-combustible material, they are suitable for the thermal insulation of various types of cold and hot pipelines, whether concealed or exposed.

Rock wool pipe is a specialized rock wool insulation material primarily designed for pipeline applications. It is manufactured using natural basalt as the main raw material; following high-temperature melting, the material is spun into artificial inorganic fibers via high-speed centrifugal equipment. Simultaneously, specialized binders and dust-suppressing oils are introduced, followed by a heat-curing process to produce rock wool insulation pipes in a variety of specifications to meet diverse requirements. Additionally, rock wool can be composited with glass wool or aluminum silicate wool to create composite rock wool insulation pipe shells. These rock wool pipe shells are manufactured using carefully selected diabase and basalt slag as primary raw materials; after high-temperature melting and during a high-speed centrifugal process, specialized binders and waterproofing agents are sprayed in to produce resin-bonded rock wool insulation pipe shells and water-repellent rock wool insulation pipe shells.
