Thermal Insulation: The air layers trapped between the fibers create an effective thermal resistance. The safe operating temperature range spans from -120°C to 500°C, while composite products laminated with aluminum foil can withstand temperatures up to 500°C.

Sound Absorption: The material features a porosity exceeding 95%. A 20mm-thick board achieves a sound absorption coefficient of over 0.8 within the 125–4000 Hz frequency range; for enhanced low-frequency sound absorption, the material should be utilized in conjunction with a perforated panel structure.

Weather Resistance: The material retains its thermal insulation properties even after immersion in water and exhibits no significant corrosion in acidic or alkaline environments (pH 2–12).
